Jake is actually Jace’s Dad! He’s been into Magic the gathering since it first came out. The first time he played was when a friend of his got a collector’s edition set for Christmas back in 1993! He’s also a Dungeon master and player for D&D. He loves the steampunk style, so he is a perfect fit for Clockwork Games!

Though still in high school, Logan has been playing Magic the gathering since he was 4 years old introduced by his dad. Fun fact he played in his first tournament/draft at 13 and won. He’s very knowledgeable on TCG’s not just MTG! Perfect for here at Clockwork Games.

Meet The Owner’s

Justin (he/they)

Comes from Yuba City and now resides in Marysville with his spouse, who works locally as a CNA, their family, and their beloved fur babies. His passion for Magic the Gathering began in high school, where they discovered a love for teaching others to play—so much so that he even played a game of commander on their wedding day. Finding his passion for Magic the gathering started the pipe line to other table top games like dungeons and dragons.

Clockwork games is here for you because of Justin's benefactor, his grandfather. Spending summers and at one point living with his grandparents they would spend hours playing board games. Justin wouldn’t be here without their grandparents. Justin is thrilled to see his dream of bringing gaming to the community become a reality. Tabletop games are a wonderful way to connect, and He hopes Clockwork Games brings you as much joy as it does them.

Jace (they/them) got into magic the gathering when Justin and them started dating. They’ve always been nerd and have many hobbys. Once they Learned about a character who they shared a name, they became obsessed. Now an active commander player, dungeons and dragons adventurer, and Pokémon collector. They have fell headfirst into the table top hobbies. They visit the store often, either working the register, helping with events, running booths, and running our social media.

Trading card game prices are at a all time high, We do our best to keep prices as close to MSRP* as we can. We base our singles prices off of TCG player market value. We also strive ourselves on treating everyone equally, we are all here to enjoy the games we love. Your gender, sexuality, experience, or financial situation shouldn’t prevent your fun. Proxys are welcome for casual play!
